I’ll go for a few that I don’t think have been mentioned so far

  1. Estadio Azteca - Mexico
  2. Suita City Football Stadium - Ōsaka
  3. Veltins-Arena - Schalke
  4. San Mamés Stadium/La Catedral - Bilbao
  5. Achter de Kazerne - Michelen

Shout out to The Panathenaic Stadium in Athens but didn’t see a sporting event there (did hold my own unofficial race  )

MCG (just massive)
Oracle Park (great sea views)
Odsal
Knowsley Road
Old Trafford Cricket Ground

Maine Road
Old Trafford (cricket)
St James’s Park
Nou Camp
Brookburn Road

Honourable mention for Estadio Nou Camp in Inca, Mallorca, but I didn’t see a game there.

Worst -
White Hart Lane
Stadium of Light
Darlington Arena
KCOM
Moss Lane

Don’t really like modern stadia…

  1. Millerntor Stadion
  2. Happy Valley
  3. Stadio Artemio Franchi
  4. The Nevill Ground (maybe not technically a stadium but fuck off)
  5. Old Wembley

Haha yeah my mistake, just always equated that picture with the Rome game for some reason.

Amazed it took that long to be picked up tbh.

  1. San Siro
  2. Bernabeu
  3. Old Trafford
  4. La Bombonera (never been though)
  5. Amsterdam Arena

Shittest I’ve been to:

  1. Stamford Bridge
  2. Vicarage Road
  3. Nakivubo Stadium (Uganda)
  4. Jan Breydel Stadium
  5. New Wembley

Elm Park
Old Trafford (Cricket)
Madejski Stadium
Memorial Stadium
Pontyates Park

The worst is Loftus Road.

Followed by the Weston homes community stadium, and old trafford

Layer Road was pretty shit too

  1. Reliant Park / NRG Stadium, Houston Texas
  2. Staples Centre, LA, California
  3. Celtic Park, Glasgow
  4. Murrayfield, Edinburgh
  5. Kyle Field, College Station Texas

Never seen a match there, but it is very underwhelming from the outside.

Objectively utter shit, but it was round the corner from my house, genuinely felt like it was about to collapse when it got an atmosphere going, and I had a mate who’s back garden backed on to one side who used to get 20-30 free footballs a season from it and bring them in to school

Great for away fans, could slide down that lower tier roof and plop right out on to the pitch and get fakkin nawty.

Would love to go to a college game, timing has never worked out when I’ve been in America though. Saw the stadium in Austin from the outside, it’s absolutely huge.

Yeah it’s similar with Roots Hall in that it is objectively shit but the South Upper is fantastic, and it can get very noisy for big games, especially under the floodlights

Absolutely blew my mind when I was taken to see Bulldogs play college football :football: at Sanford Stadium in Athens GA. Was expecting a few bleachers, crowd of 500 or so, bit like most high school movies… Nope, it’s like a 90k megadome.

That’s what we saw when we went to the Rose Bowl. UCLA v Washington State, so kind of a local derby.
