Top Categories function omitting social/music for regular posters

Something seems to be a bit weird with the Top Categories summary on a lot of users’ profiles. As you’ll see in the thread I started (assuming most people would have social/music as top categories) a lot of the most regular posters actually have those two categories absent from their top list. Less frequent posters seem to consistently have social and/or music at the top.

Any ideas why?
