I’ve had this (its in the same book) - it’s actually “fine”. Although I never did it again so…

pasta just with butter, parmesan, a bit of the cooking water and lots of black pepper is actually pretty damn good

I’ll be honest I’m not sure why I have to stop halfway through the recipe to go and learn everything there it to know about preparing capsicums, especially as that step comes after I’ve already prepared and cooked the capsicums. That seems badly thought-through.

Actually really like this, have used it several times over the years when I really cba to do anything and don’t have much in.
