Slightly embarrassed that I missed the whole of the first stage… because I was out on my bike.

To be completely honest it wasn’t exactly exciting…it’s a paris stage so they did a couple of hours of laps into and around the city and then did 5 seconds of sprinting at the end. That was it. Sort of unavoidable, but not really the amazing curtain-raising stage that’s going to lure people in.
I may or may not have fallen asleep during it
Today looks….flat. Surely about as flat as it’s possible to get in france. Let’s hope for some wind.

Kind of disappointed they haven’t switched out the boring male riders’ life stories for the Whoop adverts with some boring femme riders’ life stories. I’m bored of hearing what a complete dongle Hugh Carthy is.
