2 things could happen;

Big attack from a lower GC contender (Bardet or Kruiswijk maybe) on the Tourmalet draws out 4th/2nd, so sky have to then defend over the Soulor.

Or sky ride tempo killing the race and somebody tries something on the descent of the Aubisque.

Probably the latter. The Soulor/Aubisque really isn’t hard enough to crack a team like sky in. And Poels took it dead easy yesterday

Not watching the coverage but from what I’m seeing online, Sagan is an absolute world of pain. Someone saying he was struggling up the steps to sign on.

At the back with over 100km, the Tourmalet and Aubisque ahead. I think he’ll be off the bike before the end.

The Euros are a couple of weeks away, so hoping he’ll back by then. I was looking forward to seeing him through in Glasgow.
