Bonjour, welcome to Spain for the Tour de France!

Tadej Pogačar hot favourite again for the overall win, he’s looking to win his 5th Tour and it will be very hard to stop him.

Today is a team time trial around Barcelona.

19.6km, with a short 1km climb towards the end at 5%.

Teams to look out for today include:

Netcompany Ineos

UAE

Lidl Trek

Red Bull Bora Hansgrohe

Also all eyes on the Decathlon team and their young teenage prodigy Paul Seixas, who makes his grand tour debut.

Annoyingly it’s all now paywalled on uk tv, on tnt sports. There are daily highlights on Channel 5 at 7pm

Otherwise, viewers in Australia can watch for free on SBS Sports, they will need to create an account there and it’s highly recommended that everyone uses a VPN to protect their browsing as well, especially if they find themselves outside of Australia.

Worth noting that the Urban VPN Chrome extension offers Australia as a free location and allegedly works nicely for streaming the Tour. So I’m told.

TNT Sports 1 has it 8-9 (today at least) so maybe it’ll be up on HBO shortly after 9?

The presenter of the Channel 5/TNT highlights is the Bizarro World Gary Imlach. She’s unbelievably smiley. And chirpy. I’m not sure I’m ready for that.

Probably going to be similar to yesterday, looks like a good breakaway or puncheur day, but the GC lads will crush it because they can.
