specially not in a bag that rips down the sides so easily and such a flimsy box that’s somehow supposed to last for months.
i guess the class of person who gets maldon salt is expected to have one of those pots that kind of lie’s on it’s side with the aperture out to the side and a minuscule little shovel that comes with it.

Did you see that post I did in the SHOW AND TELL thread this morning, if you’re interested in seeing a small pot that has been used to put some maldon salt in that has a little minuscule shovel that comes with it you should look in that thread

probably one i can’t remember due to its mundane nature. maybe me apologising to someone for requesting they install a tool on my workspace that had already been installed and I hadn’t noticed

I hope this post makes you happy

i did not. I’m only interested in it in the sense that it’s a coincidence that I have also brought it up here, does that count?

Yeah, that’s a reasonable level of interest (and it’s why I brought it up)

oh hang on, does it not kind of lie on it’s side with the aperture out to the side?

No, it doesn’t do that I’m afraid (to my understanding of what an aperture is that is)

an aperture is the missing clarification in that classic “how many holes has a straw got” question.

You’re real smart

Apologies for the slow reply, was just tracking down that pic of the salt pot.

No problem, we all know and appreciate what a busy man you are

A wise investment. I’m a big fan of my pizza stones.

I think this thread has probably run it’s course now.

(although I haven’t got my package yet)

I had to google pizza stones and one entry said something about them helping you get a nice, crisp bottom and I was like “WAY ahead of you there, google”
