@meowington is mincemeat generally vegan? I know you can buy readymade pastry that is. Thinking in for a penny, in for a pound and making some with class next week…but got a few egg and lactose issues…

Mince meat is fine as far as I know! And yeah the just rol stuff is all vegan

I use this recipe (minus the egg and butter) and it’s soooo nice and everyone loves them. Crispy pastry and normal pasty :heart_eyes:

Oh yeah and the recipe is easy/fun cause you’re just rolling out a big sheet of pastry and they can just chuck any old shit in and make a mess

Found it odd in PGCE the amount of daft reasons some.kf the young ones had for not turning up…there would be all thr keen mature students where we’ve been up, put the washing in, tidied up, made lunches, kids up, off to school etc and you’re saying you’re not in as you’re tired from doing one assessment. JFC etc
