Not a fan of the bright pink boxes

Me either, on the forum view. They’re now gone again.

Different emoji set is not so good.
Also the navigation bits at the bottom of threads where it shows unread threads only showingvthe category you are currently in is a bit inconvenient.

Generally I’d go for an if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it approach.

Obviously ignore me if I am a minority though.

I just tried to use an emoji and it wasn’t available but will switch back if it looks bad.

Oh, ok, I didn’t realise anyone would clock that I had changed that. Felt like it made more sense to only have the category you’re in - especially as on the music forum it was mostly social posts showing.

Feel the front page was easier to read before. You just scrolled down the music and social boards and took it all in pretty quickly. In this new view, the text is smaller and it kind of gives equal standing to the Site Feedback and Classifieds sections, which no one really cares about.

Fair enough if it works betrer for others.

Personally it is about 90% of the way I navigate, but I realise I am probably in minority.

No worries, I’ll switch it back now.

Sean, since the changes were made earlier replies aren’t showing up as replies which makes posts look really weird.

How do you mean?

I’ve switched a setting back. It was only not showing if the reply was to the post directly above it.

I thought something had gone wrong with the site tbh

It’s absolute shite on mobile

Have you clicked on desktop view?

I don’t like that you can’t see how many new replies there have been to any threads you’ve been following that show up on the homepage.

Yeah, there was a setting that automatically edited out complete post quotes if you quoted the post above the one you were typing that I turned off because it didn’t improve the flow the way the Discourse guys seemed to imagine it would. No idea if that’s connected.

I actually like the new boxes thing on the front page although - and this is presumably a reflection on Discourse not you - I find it a bit odd that if I squish the window width down they don’t first move to a new line, instead it just squishes everything. Seems a weird option.
