Yeah, but awards are just money making PR nonsense (for the award givers) anyway. It’s such a racket - charge every £80 to see if they’ve won something made up.

My mum had a trophy for Manchester & Regional table tennis mixed doubles junior champion 1960

And my mother in law has a trophy for coming runner up in the ‘Miss Uddevalla’ beauty pageant 1964

I’ve never been awarded a trophy, but I did get a certificate for 2nd place in the St Davids day solo singing competition in 1984. Can I have that ? please can I have it, otherwise I’m a life long failure :frowning:

I think the only actual trophy or medal I ever got was a participation medal for a kids’ ski competition I was in when I was a kid (slalom, placed 36th)

We have awards things at work but nothing I do really fits the categories, reckon if there was an innovation category I would stand a chance but it’s all team work and stuff

We had a data analytics challenge I won, I’ve never taken part since to protect my legacy
