Even with mass voter suppression and GOP-controlled counties just throwing votes out en masse Biden is going to walk it in November. Itā€™s worth paying attention to because his whole strategy - just kind of stand there and look like a vaguely safe bet while the right wing completely fuck up - is 100% going to be Kiethā€™s strategy too.

Canā€™t find the tweet but a while back someone likened his strategy to Homerā€™s boxing strategy. Not sure if the bigger embarassment is that thatā€™s how a major political party is approaching a presidential campaign or the fact that itā€™s currently working.

Saw that Brad Parscale was finally canned last night as well, although heā€™s been replaced internally which makes it feel less like a strategic decision and more of a sacrificial offering.

Thatā€™s not really the criteria for a huge number of people though is it, the main thing for them is that heā€™s keeping someone they donā€™t want out of the job (this is the case for both parties obviously)

50% never liked him in the first place.

He has a passionate but still fairly limited base. Biden isnā€™t as personally unpopular as Hillary, any swing voters who thought theyā€™d go fro Trump just to see what happened wonā€™t brother again, and no president has won office in the midst of the kind of crisis the US is currently in. I canā€™t rule out a trump win because we live in the worst possible timeline, but the numbers for it really donā€™t add up.

Given than Bidenā€™s Democrats are basically Dubyaā€™s Republicans though, thereā€™ll be a whole different set of issues to deal with.
