Sure, every power not expressly granted to the federal government.

Lots of states are being balloted today on legalising weed. California is voting on abolishing the death penalty. Many could massively raise their minimum wage. They’re all pretty big deals, but obviously not making the headlines in the same way as the presidential election.

Shooting at a polling station reported (unconfirmed). Depressingly predictable

Two people wounded apparently.

Its amazing that these record low popularity figures are par the course in the UK. Were 30% approval rating is good.

It’s weird when you see a paper US ballot card, just how many questions there are and different things to mark off- makes our choose one box jobs look so basic.

KY and IN called for Trump, VT for Clinton (not surprising)

others too early to call.

Pssst, move it on over to the other thread yeah

My wife’s card had 84 I think. Most of those were for judges. She had to bring a crib sheet to vote ‘no’ on the shitty ones.

This race has been pretty awful. They are neck and neck even after this moment of overt racism.

guys…

Guys…

:worried:

I feel sick.

Not really all that shocking. Will be more interesting to see where they go from here.

Not this

In the way it’ll be interesting to see how a car skids off a road and rolls down a hill.

I can also imagine a Simpsons-esque joke here where we see the Dems chanting “LOVE TRUMPS HATE!” and then cut to the GOP supporters chanting “LOVE TRUMP’S HATE!”

I was already pretty certain it was going to happen to be honest. I’m not shocked, I’m quietly horrified, maybe a little terrified at what will come in the future.

I won’t lie, part of me is happy that we’re not the only complete fucking idiots in the world.

Yeah, at least we’re not the biggest dickheads around at the moment. This make Brexit look like a by-election.

Americans eh? Always have to trump us on everything, don’t they? (pun intended)

I don’t get it.
