I too have been better.
Absolute washout of a day. It’s not stopped raining in the last 24hrs and it’s meant to continue all night.
First proper day of the holiday. Went to a retail park to kill a bit of time in M&S and Next, went to a Brewer’s Fayre (which was fucking gopping) for a soft play and got the kids lunch.
Stopped by a bakery for a massive Cornish pasty for late lunch back at the caravan. Then had a lay down before a session on the pool (which wasn’t the cleanest). Got a headache now.
Cooked a chickpea and veg curry and the kids are off to bed so I’m having a lime and soda. This is the first day in the past 191 where I’ve felt like having a drink.
Luckily the weather is looking good tomorrow, so gonna head on the train into St Ives and have a really good scout around. Maybe a pizza dinner. Just gotta get through tonight.
I have a falafel wrap from the falafel stand, and a cold class of orange juice, quite excited for this delicious dinner

My spirits arent bad but ive been motherfucked by the rain, like absolutely drenched
I actually don’t think it’s rained here since about 8.30 this morning but it’s been pretty cold.
My plan to spend all day playing games was compromised by the eye drops they used taking about four hours to wear off. Wor Lass came home at lunch and said my pupils were so big I looked like a surprised puppy in a cartoon.

Evening
Not too bad ta. A little miffed at spending nearly 5 hours at the hospital earlier for a routine appointment that ran incredibly late.
Had Local Indian for tea because we were both starving, having not had any lunch.
Was going to take the dog for a twilight walk but it’s just started raining, so that’s been sacked off.

Had beans on toast for tea and now watching Australian mafs so can’t really give the evening a rating of more than 4/10.

Work - was ok, did a presentation thing and it went pretty good
Practiced pool after and I was fairly rubbs but a student came and asked me for a couple of frames at the end and I won them both so feeling better about myself now 
On the bus now . Going to eat a probably unhealthy dinner and get baked

Quite a full day today and the next coupla days are probably going to more or less follow suit. Which I don’t actually mind, but ya know, overstimulation and tiredness has a real way of making me feel like I’m a reeeeal piece a’ shit.
Plus side though, I have three creative projects in my head and I’m in love with all of them! A novel about the fragmentation of reality, an album about the inexpressibility of emotion, and an EP about horror. Creativity is the best and everyone should indulge whatever artistic impulse they have because it opens yr mind to greater complexities and could conceivably lead to world peace and fulfilment for all

Had an annoying day
Got a small leak from the bath or shower, but can’t find exactly where it’s leaking from. Really stressed about it.
Had a headache and sore shoulder all day
Pop socket on my phone has just broken and I was thinking of getting a new phone soon so it’s sort of not worth replacing it but it’s really annoying not to be able to use it so I may just end up replacing my phone sooner than I wanted to, but I hate getting new phones. Going to have a go at gluing the pop socket back together tomorrow
Got new glasses and they get dirtier around the bridge of the nose much quicker than my old pair (why has science not solved this problem yet?)
