I’ve just read your reply further up.

I work in FE now but I went through the PGCE route. Based on my experience, I would get whatever training they’ll pay for - especially when you can use it to get work elsewhere later.

Cheers pal (and @Otto and @colon_closed_bracket).

Woke back up. Listening to a report on a new Scientology office being opened in Dublin. Have to go back to normal life and go to the bank now though.

Oh dear Jesus, a relation of mine is coming on the radio now to talk about his new book. Definitely leaving the house.

it’s okay, we can share the glory together

My brain has turned to mush. Need coffee.

I don’t feel too good. Was meant to be in work in an hour, managed to get out of that. Am meant to host an election thing all night, not looking too great for that either tbh. Which is sad cause I was really looking forward to it

I’m not coping in my new job, my first month - the first two weeks were great, not doing an awful lot and then after that ended I was overwhelmed with different projects.

I didn’t sleep last night and my nerves are shattered.

Do I give my notice in? I mean, the job will never change and it is working within media so the work will never stop.

Am I supposed to be coping after a month?

-any help would be appreciated.

I feel so deflated, I was so excited to be working here but it just seems like everywhere else I’ve experienced.

Sorry.

Unless you’re some kind of superhuman, most new jobs will have learning curves on the steep/ vertical side. The work might not change but you can learn to manage it better ( and by ‘better’, I mean 'without burning yourself to the ground ')

Talk to your boss? If you don’t let them know you need to slow things down a bit, they can’t help.

I don’t like that you’re sorry, but hopefully the little heart will send some positive vibes your way.
