The Waterlink Way goes through Lewisham. And is excellent for cycling, running and wildlife spotting!

Honestly you don’t even realise you’re in London in parts of it. If you keep going south you can end up in Beckenham, which is basically Kent!

waterlink way to have a good time

Rock 'n roll and brew, rock 'n roll and brew
They don’t mean a thing when I compare 'em next to you
Rock 'n roll and brew, rock 'n roll and brew
I know that you and I oh we got better things to do
I don’t know who you are or what you do, or where you go when you’re not around
I don’t know anything about you baby, but you’re everything I’m dreaming of
I don’t know who you are, but you’re a real dead ringer for Shucks
A real dead ringer for Shucks

EDIT: I’ve been singing “rocking rolling Roo” all these years!

… I would be more than impressed if you didn’t need to look up the lyrics for this.

As per my edit, I think I could probably have recited them, just incorrectly!

I never knew the exact words to it! I think I was always just singing "rock n roll and mumble rock n roll and mumble "

Haha!! Sorry I just read your edit. No one knew the right words until now. Thank you for enriching our lives.

I love Meat Loaf, he’s brilliant.

I love him more  :cut_of_meat::bread:

Fuck, anyone watching Jools? Chuck Berry spinning in his grave for that last one. Truly one of the worst cover versions I’ve ever heard.

This one’s shit and all.

Fuck this, I’m sticking after the goldrush on.

Haha, excellent- you make a fairly built up part of Bromley sound quite rural!

I was well surprised by that on the cycle to Brighton, once you get past Peckham it felt like Sussex :grinning:

I can’t remember why, but our fans fucking hate King’s Lynn. Boo! Hiss!

Angels won 2-0  Chuffed.

Was planning to start writing leaving notes to my 3 favourite colleagues as they’re all in tomorrow, but I’m too tired really :frowning: I feel like it’s quite an awkward thing to do, but they’ve made an unbearable year a bit more tolerable and have been really supportive and encouraging when I’ve struggled with the job hunt and recent issues with work. proper want to stay in touch with them and go for drinks occasionally (not something I thought I’d be saying about any of my colleagues this time last year, tbh)

Who was it?

Already forgotten her name but it was an earnest white ballad cover of You Never Can Tell by Chuck Berry. Kinda thing you’d expect to hear on a John Lewis Christmas ad.
