That’s a good thing I think. I liked poison season but it definitely stayed inside the lines a bit much. A little more ‘fucking maniac’ a bit less ‘hell’ I guess.

Poison Season coloured inside the lines a bit too much for me, though there was still some great stuff on it like ‘Times Square’, ‘Dream Lover’ and ‘Bangkok’.

There’s a lot of weird experiments with instruments and texture on ken. Can genuinely say some of my favourite Destroyer songs are on it.

Dunno, I’ve mostly found it good for laughing my head off at someone who thinks Atwood, Stein and Hemingway are shite but gave Corey Feldman’s autobiography “Coreyography” four stars, tbqfh.

Actually I did read one thing based off Goodreads’ recommendation, and it was literally the worst book I’ve ever read.

I’d say it’s as good as something like Amazon in the sense that you need to make adjustments for the people who give everything 5* or anything where they didn’t like the film 1*.

Not sure how many good things I’ve been recommended but to be honest I get a bit snobby about those kinds of things unless I really respect the person’s opinions. I’ve probably read more that was recommended in that thread on here, if that’s any marker.
