Just used my Christmas present BFI membership for the first time - off to see Singin’ in the Rain on Sunday afternoon. I’ve probably seen the Morecambe & Wise version more often than the real thing.

Sound. If you adopt it won’t be as expensive as getting a pup but it’s good not to do it on a shoestring in the event of unexpected costs. Pro tip: don’t buy any expensive or ‘indestructible’ toys. The dog will annihilate them just the same.

I’m trying to talk about literary truth and how we suspend disbelief. I want then to say something about us ‘being snapped out of it’ but I don’t know how. So something to put in place of the phrase suspension of disbelief…

oh yeah it’s not that we’re really expecting any huge expenses, we are gonna rescue 100% for certain but you just never know, we’re brassic right now so gonna just delay it a bit. just started up running again and am constantly thinking like ‘i need a dog pal on these runs’
