I’m making a big photo album for my mum’s 60th birthday next week. I’m generally the big nostalgic in the family but I bet this’ll make her really emotional. Just lots of pics of us growing up, from tiny babies to the wonderful adult specimens that we are today

Don’t even need a pen, just a show and the wine bottle

Had the following exchange at work earlier:
Customer: Can you recommend me a red wine from these here please?
Me: Personally this Argentinian malbec is my favourite, and for the price its especially good
Customer: I’ll take it. I refused to eat or drink anything Argentinian until 2 years ago you know, on account of the Falklands War but then I got taken to an Argentinian restaurant and it really changed my mind.
I was obviously not expecting this statement snd just about managed a nod and a smile before sidling away. Mental.

Yeah that sounds alright, might not be the most fun idea to go on a brewery tour/tasting if you don’t like beer

Not as if she has to follow the decision of a poll mind (known as the @unlucky principle)

Also, I know I posted this in the relevant thread, but I’m still chuckling at this perfect song/battery percentage combo from earlier and I think it needs a wider audience.

I’ve done a few and they’ve been fun but I probably don’t need to do another.

Its pretty cold and there are clothes everywhere. Really need to get a wardrobe.

Cold?! It’s still early September!

The floor seems to work perfectly well for my partner

Please document your tears in millilitres at the end, thanks.

The nights are cold (Yeah I’m sat in the one room without double-glazing for some reason)

Someone donated their entire 90s CD collection to the local charity shop. It’s all there : Gene, Manics, Dubstar, Puressence, Pulp, Massive Attack, Portishead and more.

I bought two McAlmont & Butler CDs for £2. Bargain. Very pleased with myself.

Yeah… JEV sounds nasty if you’re the unlucky one In a million

We’ve got a rough idea planned out… land in Hanoi on the 25th November, couple of days later go on a cruise round haling bay. Then sapa in the first week. Then slowly head south via phong nha ke bang, hue and so on for the other two

10k on a track doesn’t sound like much fun

Put ALL your clothes on.
