We tried it yesterday, R just got frustrated because he felt he couldn’t do it when actually he wasn’t doing half bad and I told him it was just moving about in some way that mattered.

She got into some of it and lost interest at others (totally normal for her age) but I think if we keep encouraging her and modelling the behaviour she’ll get more involved.

Yeah, I think older kids would probably be fine but it was no Cosmic Yoga.

First non-walking exercise I’ve done since January so I’m quite proud of myself.

Gonoodle is free and has great exercisey type things many suitable for little ones.

Second job have confirmed they are honouring the initial job offer that I rejected a few weeks ago (before being let go by the first). They’ve even retained the sign on bonus which is pretty generous considering they most likely know that I’m desperate. Don’t start till May so will have four weeks off.

I’m counting myself very very fortunate in the grand scheme of things so need to find a way to pay it back.

I suspect they’ve been quite sensible knowing it will be hard to get me equipment plus starting in May means I can do the few weeks/month of training that’s required and then hopefully things will be nearer to normal in june. Makes sense.
