Just about to construct it. Still not sure whether to go with the chorizo or just brie on it.

Used to have one of those bowls! Was the absolute perfect cereal bowl.

We keep having dinner at lunch time for no reason. Jackets, salad and quiche today. Very uninspiring.

Had some hoisin chicken wraps leftover from last night. Was good.

I stole it off my housemate in my second year of uni, so had it since 2005. I love it.

I would sit on the lawn with it, but the dog won’t leave me alone

No pics, but I had some of the pork noodles leftover from last night, plus some birthday cake. Had a severe case of the CBAs before lunch, but am even less motivated now. Great time to be chairing a 25-person multi-agency meeting then!

Made a homity pie because I like its name. Just letting it cool a little.

Never had one or even heard of one before tbh. I’ve had very similar things to it of course. Did think I’d try to do it vegan but sometimes you’ve got to embrace the cheese and this was one of those times.

Always knew you were alright

Homity pie is a traditional British open vegetable pie. The pastry case contains a filling of potatoes and an onion and leek mixture, which is then covered with cheese. There is little known on the exact history of the dish. Some call it ‘Devon Pie’, believing it to be an English country recipe originating from Devon

Just had some of the spicy pickled pineapple I made on the side with some eggs and mushrooms. Got a ridiculous sweat on now.

Any appetite for a pickling thread? Feels like it might not last long unlike pickled goods as it is a method of preserving food that pre dates refrigeration etc
