i was being facetious. But are there any good black metal acts that aren’t like, weird satanist neckbeards? I’ve just spent 20 minutes reading about a guy called ‘necrobutcher’, so forgive me if I’m not overly positive about the scene rn.
it’s really just a dumb image thing, none (or very few of them) are actually satanists or anything like it. otherwise it’s just a lot of posturing and theatre.

I dunno man? Might be considered a bit hipster but everything that isn’t staying in your bedroom playing online rpgs gets that treatment in metal tbh. I’m gutted they split up before I knew about them because their shirt had a cnd symbol, then a heart, then a middle finger. And I want that.
