Was up at 6 to walk the dog, lovely up at the park this morn.
Had some nice breakfast and now in work, making my way through a fair bit.
Man, I’m so much more productive when I don’t drink the night before, weird.

Morning Bird

Errand: I had to take the car for its MOT this morning. Remembered how much I hate Huntingdon (both the town and its transport infrastructure).

Spent two hours in total on the phone last night to my dad, brother and sister. This is probably the longest I’ve ever spent on the phone in one evening and the first time I’ve called all three of them in succession. I feel a bit better about everything as a result.

Another lovely morning - early autumn* is such a great time of the year.

Errands to run - need to book a place for offspring number one’s birthday party. Pressure is fairly on.

Seeing Saint Etienne doing Fox Base Alpha at Heaven tonight, which is going to be just lovely.

going swimming at lunch - buying some tickets to an experimenatl music festival in brighton, discovered the 10k i thught i was doing on november 10th is actually on teh 20th - so that’s a extra weeks training!

Went to the doctors. Delayed ages then was just referred to a consultant. Should have been able to have been done without me occupying an appointment slot tbh.

At my nannas. Dog has been barking for approx 25 minutes at window cleaners. So glad mine isn’t this bad. Full length window so she can see about 30 houses on the estate, she could carry on for hours. My grandad is trying to distract her with mention of mint imperials (dont think she understands what a mint is) and needless to say it’s not working. Bad dog.

It’s my boyfriend’s birthday so I’m going to make him a cake later. And eat a big dinner probably. We bought a cote de boeuf. Never had one before, I think he knows how to cook it but if not I’m sure we can find out

On my way up to Glasgow for a flying visit. Colleagues wanted to go there and back in a day, no thank-you! Diligently attempting to work in the train but failing miserably.
