Which brings me to summer holiday entertainments…kids want to go on lots of things which are all like £20 an hour, each. Pfft.

I had little pasta boats instead of the twisty ones and oh my it was so much nicer. All the bolognaise sauce sits in the boats and every mouthful was delicious. Who would have thought the shape of pasta made such a difference??

Evening all!
We had pad Thai for tea. A decision was made not to add any vegetables so it was very brown.
We might watch a film once The Child is asleep.
Had a bit of a disaster on the catering front as the salmon I was planning to have clearly didn’t endure the 15 minutes spent in my bag when I was walking back from town in the 30 degree heat the other day.
Had a baked potato instead.
Watching the news- this is the age I am now. Bedtime rigmarole starting shortly.
