I have a lot of memories of photos of my parents & other family and us as wee bairns taken in the 70s/80s that very much include a lot of ‘lining up to have your picture taken’ rare occasion stuff

but yeah, the ubiquity of the camera put paid to a lot of that

I had an Olympus OM1 in the 90s and was quite the photo hobbyist until all my equipment got nicked from a Gîte in the Ardêche

so it goes

damn shame

Fuck it, one day I’m going to get a jumper too and hug myself

does @futilityofendeavour also love their mum?

Usually make it with mash and grate a load of cheese on top but I wanted to try a different way for a change. It was very good! And dw, we still had cheese, in the sauce

They were obviously gold because they were banana choc chip, but might use less sugar next time. JUST SO YOU KNOW.

I remember it in 2003. Was staying on holiday with my dad’s cousin’s family for some reason, and I wandered off to try and hang out with cool teenagers (I was also a teenager), felt awkward, but looked at Mars, which was nice.
