Sadlad story about a man whose grief for his deceased parents drives him into fear and isolation working within a museum that becomes increasingly made up of artefacts from his own guilt and memories, then his ghost parents start working there too and eventually he just has to kind of own his life or lose it, or something.
It’s basically night at the museum crossed with silent hill

FINALLY FUCKING MOVE OUT LIKE I’VE BEEN PLANNING TO SINCE 2013.

What’s stopping you?

£, fear, my gerbil, parental pressure

Ach fear’s bad but it’s important to fly the nest isn’t it, you need freedom. So is that parental pressure to actually stay?
(Also I’m sure most places would accept a gerbil/they’re so small there’s no need to tell anyone)

Yep. My parents never moved out of their parents houses until they got married and moved into a house they’d bought together so have absolutely no experience of renting or living independently and my dad gets into Tory rages about how it doesn’t make sense for me to move out… honestly I mostly want a place of my own so I can shag with abandon, yo.

He’s not my gerbil though, he’s the family gerbil so I wouldn’t see him daily if I moved out :frowning: doubt he’ll make 2018 though.

:scream: :hamster:

My mum was 24 and my dad was 30 so…

yeah, I was too lazy to do separate polls. just average it.

Oh, hang on, I went back to my parents’ during university holidays, so it’s not strictly true that I moved out at 18.

also realize that this poll doesn’t accommodate for people who didn’t go to uni. ARGH, kill me its 2 early.

Moved out after the TV finished uni. Moved back in a year later, for 3 years, to save for a deposit. Then moved out last year after spending the deposit savings on life and relocation of jobs.

Nah, I’m still counting that as moved out. My parents completely redecorated my room and threw my stuff in the loft 2 weeks after leaving for uni when I’d just turned 18.

I can’t imagine living with your parents until you’re 30 being particularly healthy tbqh

By beginning of year: pay off mortgage
By end of year: either start enjoying my job again or get another one.

Get through first couple months of masters without losing my mind
Put out some new Post Louis music finally
