Cheap awful components, horrible stylus that runs quite heavy on the records to make up for the lack of a proper pre-amp, you’ll get inner groove distortion, and when you plug them into even a semi-decent pair of speakers you’ll soon feel mugged off.
They look the part I guess, but they really are made up from the cheapest, nastiest off the shelf parts. It’s all the same stuff they used to put on budget supermarket hifi’s in the 80s and early 90s.
Not really worth it for long term enjoyment. You’re much better off getting an entry level Pro-Ject deck like the Primary E or Elemental, or even the Audio Technica LP60.
You’ll need a pre-amp (for the pro-ject) and separate speakers (anything with an input will do) for those, but the sound quality is night and day with something like a crosley.
Sorry, i;m a ranty twat. Vinyl is an expensive hobby but every pal i’ve had who has bought a turntable like that soon either gave up on records or quickly upgraded.
