Slept absolutely terribly, on bus to the office. In a course all day and tomorrow. Do not want.

gonna try to go to tonight’s rally if I’m not too burnt out though
Half term, at my folks. Taking the kids into big London today with my parents, my bro and hos daughter. Already got three conflicting bits of noise about what people want to do. Joy.
Still, pastries for breakfast, and i took and 8am work call despite being on leave. Win.

It seems that most of my colleagues globally didn’t care that it was a UK bank holiday, and there’s a few queries where there’s been multiple chasers. Chase all you like - you’re not going to get an answer if there’s no one here!

Didn’t sleep well (cw health) Mrs CCB has a GP appointment today about something potentially quite worrying - likelihood it’s nothing but still, it’s been on my mind a lot
Also, got a couple of tricky meetings this morning and generally quite a busy week this week. It’s going to be a bit mad between now and mid-July.
On the plus side, managed alright at the gym 
Morning, worked for an hour and it was like pulling teeth
Just had breakfast and sorted some laundry
Got some library books to take back shortly and will do some work from there too
Should also try to do a walk or get a swim in so my bones don’t ossify but you know, lowest prio.
Urgh forgot I said I’d meet up with a friend today and I cba
Was hard to get up cos Winnie was snuggled up against me purring away (and we didn’t go to bed til 2ish last night, fools)

Had some freelance work confirmed last week starting today but they cancelled it again on Friday. So m is in the childcare i paid for and now have no income to cover 
Anyway, still works out well today as I’m starting a writing course this morning care of a nice @sweetbeans tip off

We’re getting a better loft hatch fitted today so I’ll be exam marking downstairs while they make loads of noise.

Back to WFH today, thankfully my hospital stay last week was short and I came home on Friday night. Feeling okay now, finished (yet another) course of antibiotics.
Had a pleasant weekend. We picked up the new car and it is great smaller than my previous one yay, but quicker which I need to be mindful of. And it’s red. Blooming love a red car. so that was nice. Went over to Buxton yesterday to ride the miniature train and have coffee and cake which was a lovely treat.
Plans for today are to work, do some laundry, and then meet my friend who i’ve not seen in ages & ages for coffee before nursery pick up.
Weather is miserable here still. Come back sunshine.

Got another day off today and then back to the office tomorrow. Bit of a shiter weather-wise so it hardly seems worth it. Might get a new game for the old PS5 after all since I’m not going anywhere
I slept ‘ok’, I suppose.
Day 7 of 7 at work, then I’ve got 6 off. Not in until 6.30 tonight, so a long day of rattling around the house first.
I’d do some baking or something but that’d mean going out in the pouring rain, so maybe not.
Trying to find some labels in the office to print some name badges. Found these. Anyone got a working dot matrix?

Turned up 45 mins early for my dentist appointment so umm guess ill read for a bit. Got absolutely nothing going on at the minute, work’s dead so properly skint, and have run out of podcasts and tv shows to consume. Dear lord what a sad little life. Might go out for a walk in the forest for a bit.
Listening to that Still House Plants album again. On my first go through, it was mainly ‘M M M’ that grabbed me and then the rest of it kind of just sounded a bit too much like (lesser) variation on that but I’ll be honest, holy fucking shit the third track ‘Sticky’ is really landing right now
