I can recommend a way to NOT manage your passwords, which is that you should not use the name of the hedgehog that lives in your garden as the password for important things in case you have to say it out loud to a broker on the phone.

Joking aside, you shouldn’t ever need to disclose your full password to any company. If you do, they are either crooks or have no concept of data security.
Yeah, it was a security thinger. I’m an idiot for choosing it, this was an entirely foreseeable event.
