My can’t-be-arsed levels are at absolute critical this week. If they drop any lower I feel like I’ll disintegrate as the forces holding the atoms of my body together will just give up. I am become small puddle.

Shit drive to work yesterday because of the rain, shit drive today because of a stranded vehicle. Thankfully it’s my last office day of the week. WFH this afternoon too, because I’ve got a beer delivery arriving this afternoon

I’m a bit annoyed that I’ve spent yesterday and probably today (my two days off) with a cold on the sofa. But things could be a lot worse and after all, two days on the sofa is actually pretty nice (shame about the cold symptoms). Feel a bit better than yesterday too

Also on rubbish commute book.
Took twice as long to get the 5 miles across Stafford to my office as it did the (approx) 15 miles to get from the nursery to Stafford. So many temporary traffic lights ugh.
Had a coffee, getting stuck into some work. Hope day will go quick. WFH & hair wash day tomorrow.

And here’s the thing. Regardless of the reason (and quite frankly, Fuck Brexit and anyone who voted for it) why on earth aren’t airports putting more staff on desks? And if that costs a bit more, pass that cost onto the airlines and get everyone to pay a couple of quid more on their flights, rather pissing off everyone passing through?
The passport control guy was chatting away to everyone like there weren’t about 3000 people in the queue.
