Morning

Having coffee - they are playing lots of Bobby D on the radio

Think work is going to be not to busy today - will get out on the bike at lunch if it stays dry as promised

Might have a pub date tonight but might be tomorrow

Genuinely wouldn’t have surprised me if you’d said it was actually still March

Omg normality beckons! Out of interest is it a pret croissant? Kinda hoping pret survives all this.

Not calling you liar but i dont believe this.

no, but there’s a pret opposite where i bought this one from. i think this is a st john’s croissant :yum:

In quite a good mood and not sure how to deal with it.

Morning!

At home today having spent most of the day y’day waiting round the hospital so that’s better.

It’s a WFH day, and its grey and raining outside (of course…isn’t it always lately), but it’s a quiet working day so hoping to get lots done, listen to Mogwai for the listening club, and i’ve got a nice chicken stir fry planned for tea tonight.

Well sometimes it’s totally full up by then time it starts sputtering and sometimes it’s halfway full

Same grind setting, same weight, so … idgi. I think I’m bad at coffee

Albert Einstein was wrong then.

It’s been a very wet day here in Melbourne. Otherwise nothing too big going on but currently trying to get my daughter to do her homework and it’s killing my energy.

Morning!

I thought I was going to have a crazy day, but a couple of meetings have been cancelled so there’s some chinks of light shining through. Maybe I’ll even get the chance to pop out for a coffee this morning.

Ive still got back to back meetings from 1pm until the end of the day though

I had an interview last week and didn’t get the job :sob: I got a nice email saying I did well in the interview and they were glad I applied but idk, that made me feel worse, like if I did badly then I’ve got room to improve but if I did well, it means my best isn’t good enough 🄲

Feel like pure shite just want more than 2 hours sleep

Nooo, it doesn’t mean that at all! It means they were impressed by you and liked you, they just found someone they thought was more suitable for that particular role. Please try to take it as the positive feedback they intended and go into your next interview feeling confident, you have interview skills

What the Gnome said, it’s decent positive feedback, and there’s always things to build on! It’s tough to take at the time, given the overriding feeling will be one of frustration and disappointment at not getting the job, but it’s definitely feedback to go back to. You never know in an interview situation if they’re looking for someone or just going through the motions as they’ve already got a candidate lined up (which massively sucks), but that is some good feedback to focus on.
