Back in the office after being away for my sisters wedding on Saturday. I think I might be still hungover. Or have a bug. Possibly both.
The cold tap in the work kitchen has been fixed after 18 months though so I’m basically living in luxury.
Currently having a nice coffee and reminding myself how good them All Structures Align boys are. Very, very good indeed.

Just went through half a meeting without my headset plugged in. Oops.
Meanwhile, whoever is in the desk opposite to me has their headset turned up so loud I’m getting that annoying just about audible sound bleeding though.
In other news, I saw on Instagram last night that The Waeve had done some signed copies of their LP coming out on Friday for Resident, but because of the algorithm, I hadn’t seen the story for about three hours, and when I clicked through to the website they were all sold out. BUT, I just received an email saying that my order had been upgraded to a signed copy. Who knew I’d pre-ordered it? Well done past me!

had a really killer morning, went to bed early so woke up early before the kiddo, had a read, then when he went to preschool I sat and had breakfast in the sun on the front step.
Now working, and have a housing board meeting later. Can’t complain about today tbh.

Was meant to be in the office but WFH because 1. I feel absolutely dreadful and 2. Mr s_w has had to take my car to work in Manchester cause his battery terminal was loose(?) on his and he didn’t have time to fix before work.
Got a telephone Dr’s appt at 11.15 for my (suspected) throat infection. Had fun sending in photos of my throat this morning ahead of that.
Sun is shining though so going put some laundry to dry shortly and let the chickens out for a roam.
