Lovely sky on the drive to work this morning. Clouds all orange when I left, blue sky for a lot of the journey, and the moon hanging low. Good work nature.

back in work today so not for me. actually i just have to meet a couple of students to listen to their ideas and do some prep so not exactly killer.
no sexy sky for me here in the UK home of maternity dungarees worn by the not-pregnant.
Meant to be heading to Glossop today for a meeting but my bank account says different.
Need to sort my flat/life out.
Should be quite a nice day, I reckon, bit of lingering anxiety from last night but I’m going to look in a mirror and tell myself I’m cool or something

It’s wall to wall grey skies here this morning.
Back up the Women’s Hospital shortly for 20-week scan, take 3. Hopefully the last one.
Not sure what to do with the rest of the day. Bike ride maybe? Extra long dog walk? Or perhaps just an afternoon of video games.

I was signed off work yesterday so still mentally adjusting to that. The temptation is to leap headfirst into ‘projects’ but I really think I need to slow myself down. Currently making a massive bowl of porridge with blueberries / raspberries / toasted almonds and chia seeds, then will go for a climb later on this morning. The ice has finally melted in Sheffield so feel like I can move aroundn again properly. Hope everyone has a good day!

Doing the normal train-booking thing where we decide DEFINITELY to get the train becaise it’s such a long journey, hut then the cheapest ticket’s (with rail card!) are £200 so fuck that I’ll drive. UK rail travel, eh?
Jnr mk2 is coming home for a few days today which is lovely as his dramatic, chaotic sister isn’t here so calm, relaxed visit is completely feasible.
Job searching continues. Bleh.

Cold i’ve been expecting for almost a week has fully arrived. Awake most of the night with congestion/sore throat, and it’s continuing now. Plus some sinus pain and general tiredness & aching. Great. 
Was meant to be in the office but WFH.
Grey out but not icy today so that’s good.
Embroiled in work annoyance from my old dept. so today I get to go in and say yeah, nmfp I’m afraid guys. Pretty happy about this.

Morning, slept like shit but at least there was cricket to listen to.
The rail sale has disappointed as nothing really on my line to London in comparison to the Birmingham line.
A day of meetings awaits, so I’m busy ordering frames and contemplating painting blocks on the walls to break up the constant white paint and black frames as a pain/expense getting nice range of frames.
Put this up at the top of the stairs for now
