Skipped the gig I was meant to be going to last night so I could hang out with the girl I’ve been seeing

spilled coffee on myself and my best bag earlier

People are leaving work today so there are lots of snacks to eat, plus I’m having a (paid for by work) Burrito for lunch, and playing board games

It is my 2nd eldest’s 16th birthday today - looking forward to seeing her later on

I think I might have been one of those elusive “morning people” without knowing it for ages. On free days / mornings from work or uni, I tend to be able to get a shit load of writing or music or whatever done in anticipation of lunch.

Doing a Masters is definitely the best decision I’ve made in a while.

Someone spilt a cappuccino onto my bag at work a few years ago. It’s pretty waterproof but it did carry a faint aroma of sweet, off milk for a while afterwards.

Got off the bus from Dublin at three last night, home and in bed by half three. Got about two hours sleep before my best mate messages me from China asking me how I’m getting on. Halfway between tired and jittery now.

Gig was good though, Thundercat shredded hard and the support band were great. I’d love to live in Dublin for a few months someday.

Hi all,

Had a pretty scary moment playing football last night where I lost my footing while in goal and landed really awkwardly on my ankle (something popped real loud ffs). I can walk and move and put it on ice when I got home but it’s pretty painful this morning, but was genuinely terrified I had done something much worse initially :tired_face:

Just put 70 pence in the vending machine for a twirl (price: 55 pence), gave me 55 pence change. Lovely stuff.
