Revenge bairn has been a fucking terror recently.

Baked potatoes and stuff, usual tv, maybe a beer just as a fuck you to illness

Reasonable temperature. In quite severe pain.
Took dog the vets to get his nails done. Dropped his lead outside and he went running off away from said veterinary practice. I chased after him and have torn my calf or something.
Scampi and chips for tea was a nice distraction but it’s gonna be an evening of lying on the sofa with my leg on the coffee table.

first day with kids back after easter and some fool threw in parents evening as well - another one on thursday and all
had some pasta for dinner but heading out for chocolate snacks soon
Day 4 of norovirus. Kept lunch down but alas still no appetite. Almost the master of my bowels.

Catching up on that Attenborough Mammals show and Orcas are great big bloody bastards, aren’t they. Real “they’d eat you and everyone you care about given the chance” vibes. Other than that being generally annoyed because I gave a family member a fair chunk of money to help them with something and then found out about 6 hours later that part of my flat is fucked in a way that will cost pretty much exactly that amount of money. Oh well.
My wife had a yr10 parents evening today, on her day off. Of course the online video chat technology didn’t work. So she frantically had to ring each parent. On her day off. Unpaid.
was feeling alright, but witnessed an incident of ‘anti-social behaviour’ just now + feel conflicted (part angry at the kids responsible, part thinking about how they can’t help the world they’re growing up in)
