I used to make it all the time. First time this winter for some reason though. Such a good hearty cold weather dinner.

That is one lovely looking curry spread.

It’s not the perfect one, but for laziness I’ve become a bit partial to the M&S ready made one, with peas, thick gravy and a bit of ketchup on top. Excellent comfort food.

The Curry’s because we’ve got nothing fresh in and we haven’t had one this year. CTM and naan are mine, they byriani is Mrs Z’s and the poppadoms are to share. :+1:

back early from work in New York. Gf working late until like 8PM or so. Probably going to start a fire, crack some beers and listen to 6-8 hours records…excited.

It’s not a particularly spicy one. Also, I’ll probably be too lazy.

Cake again?!

Basic Tesco stuffed pasta for dinner but with tons of garlic butter sauce and salty garlic asparagus, improved things greatly.

Off to see Vice and catch up with a friend I haven’t seen for a time. Probably lose a couple of fingers to frostbite in the process.

Got some more info on the new job and saw the office and have very mixed feelings now. Can’t judge anything too much til I’ve actually started and done a few months, but not super excited …

Had enough spaghetti and meat* balls to feed a medium-sized family.

Having a skiing catch up night and will probably stay up to late to finish my book :+1:

Cake needs no justification

Can’t decide what I want to do so I’ll probably sit here doing nothing until it’s too late to do much of anything, then go to bed. Standard.

Exhausted from the read receipt thread.

I’m making a shit pasta bake using up all the veg. Then I will bathe for approx one hour whilst watching vanderpump rules.

Turns out that using pork belly in your slow-cooked chilli is an absolute revelation. One of the great dinners, but one that has photographed very badly, even by this website’s standards

Taskmaster and Guinness now while Mrs F does some studying.

Evening. No idea what I’m up to for the evening - dinner will involve a squash but that’s all I know.

Is that sliced apple that you’ve served that with there Funkhouser?

Paprika wedges. Gave my wife the nice crispy brown ones and I had the pale cast-offs.

Neil Young ‘American Stars and Bars’ up on the music boards for album of the day. Yippie!

Which reminds me, I really fancy the squash, walnut and blue cheese toastie in the River Cottage book.

Sorry GP, no idea what that means.
