TV/Netflix/Amazon Prime/Apple etc series thread for 2022

Really enjoyed the first episode of Severance.
But yes, a very bleak thing to put yourself through!

For All Mankind, Trying, Ted Lasso, Mythic Quest.

Lots of people also like The Morning Show (though apparently S2 is trash).

The Mark Ronson documentaries were alright, Velvet Underground, Beastie Boys and I think it’s called 1970 the year music changed.

The Afterparty has been fun so far.

As well as the recs others gave (which I second)

Servant
Foundation
Defending Jacob
Home Before Dark

are all good, but the one I’d recommend above them all is Calls - it’s like nothing else I’ve ever watched, amazing stuff - weird concept but well worth sticking with.

Watched downfall last night. So angry at what happened and the arrogance and racism of the Boeing execs blaming pilots and crew from Ethiopia and Indonesia

Snowpiercer is kind of shit, but i’ll keep watching it anyway.

I watched the first episode of ‘Severance’ last night based on some positive comments upthread. Thought it was a really promising start. Interesting premise and a great cast.

Same, but I’m kind of fascinated about where it will end, if it doesn’t get cancelled first

Its a bit shit but very watchable so good. Want to see the film, was made by the parasite director

The film isn’t as good as the TV show

Massive disagreement on that. If only for Tilda Swindon’s performance.
