I think it’s a fucking GREAT show and the film made me cry, so I would encourage you sticking with it

But also you’ve watched a big chunk, and the dialogue style doesn’t change as you go ahead. It’s like if someone couldn’t handle Sorkin’s writing style - any other positive qualities are pretty much outweighed by that, since it’s so central to the show. So if that’s your main issue then fair play

I watched the first episode of The Other Two last night and ended up watching 7 in a row. Dead good, I’m sort of surprised I hadn’t heard much about it till recently given its a couple of years old.

Ditto, Netflix settings to fair better with lesser known casts and quirkier films. The Hemsworth, The Ron vehicles are a bit more formulaic.

i had high expectations as i like the Gleesons, but didn’t think it was amazing, but had some good moments. will keep watching

nice to see Brian get the lead role as the less famous of the two, but thought Domhnall stole the show

Another shout out for The Terror.

Absolutely loved it. The performances, atmosphere, the realisation that they’d fucked it, the descent into madness. So good. Actually the least interesting parts involved the beast wolf thing

Best thing I’ve seen in aaaaagggess.
