TV/Netflix/Amazon Prime etc series thread for 2021

Just another shout for HOME on Apple TV. Building porn along the lines of Chef’s Table. Think it’s made by at least some of the same people.

Rewatching Nighty Night. It’s so fucking vile but yeah, very funny.

I assume you’ve also seen Hunderby and Camping? I think Hunderby was my favourite, right up my alley.

The dolphin mask manages to scale to even higher vistas of horror than the other ones

I’ve watched every season!!!

Me and my wife absolutely love it. I love it when a tough lad taps after about thirty minutes.

I love that it isn’t narrated apart from the occasional text with trivia and calorie content stats.

Is there any series that’s a stand out? Really enjoyed the artic one, really wanted the last woman to win. She was great!

We learnt a load of fun stuff to try out camping. Like that flammable tree moss (old man’s beard?) that grows in the pnw.

The only one that wasn’t good was the one when they were in pairs. All the rest were amazing.

Never Have I Ever series 2. Bombed through it. Beautiful, funny, tragic, loved it.

We whipped through it this week, and second all of that.

Eeeeee

Watched all of Sexy Beasts and almost everyone was dull, everyone incredibly attractive, and you don’t get to know them enough for the conceit to be worthwhile.

Watch Dating Around instead, it’s similar but great.

Apple seem to be rolling out S2 of Ted Lasso one episode a week. On the one hand, appointment TV is quite nice, on the other I WANT IT ALL NOW

I really don’t like the dump model anymore. It makes the shows feel completely disposable to me.
And it’s something to look forward to I guess.

That was season 7, right? We just started season 8 tonight. It’s set in Canadian grizzly country.

Watched it last night, it’s worth watching but doesn’t need to be nearly 2 hours long.

Also it’ll make you hate Fred Durst even more than you already do so it’s worth it for that alone.
