I’m losing interest now its 100% clear that its just a scary monster thing

It gets slower by the week, as though they are aware that the eventual reveal is going to make you throw your shoe at the telly.

do you think they will go full Thing style gross creature morphing into all the different people its cloned plus a dog and stuff at the end?

Here’s hoping.

For some reason I bought the book when I was on holiday last year. Read some Stephen King in the past and thought it would be an easy but enjoyable read. Fucking awful. Couldn’t believe how bad it was. I can’t imagine it translating at all well to TV either.

All the best with it though.

I’m no King afficionado (having read just two of his books) but it seems clear to me that his good ideas dried up quite some time ago.

I don’t usually watch anything that I don’t love but for some reason I’m continuing with it, possibly out of perverse fascination. The moment something else grabs my attention I’ll drop it like a stone.

Missed this last year but Syfy has picked up Jordan Peele’s Twilight Zone for the UK

An email I’ve just had from Now TV lists it as starting in February

Dont Fuck With Cats was pretty trashy. Dunno why they thought it was a good idea to tell such a horrible story in such a twee, quirky way.

Finally finished The Boys. Really liked it.

Was surprised by how much I enjoyed this given I, as a general rule, think all superhero stuff is shit.

Got a bit confused though, I probably wasn’t paying close enough attention, at the end of episode 7, Hughie is talking to Annie when Butcher shows up and shoots her, then in the next episode its like it hasn’t happened? Also I couldn’t deal with the Deep’s gills shit, still making my skin crawl today.

I don’t. Will be really annoyed if they bring Hannibal back: ended perfectly imo and I’m not sure where else they could take it now.

Got two episodes of Preacher left. These last two seasons have been a real slog. Without Joe Gilgun and Ruth Negga I would not still be there.

Think the first bit is explained by her just being a supe. And yeah, the gills bit was proper skin-crawling. His demise was a really good story arc for me.

Starting Pandemic :mask:

God yes. Hard to pinpoint exactly when it became wearying, but it was a fucking chore by the end.
