im guessing the police weren’t able to stop the person in time?
If it helps, when I got physically attacked and that person got away at the time, they managed to find the person and prosecute them. I had to do a fair bit of work myself gathering CCTV evidence (from my office cause it was just outside thankfully). They put the picture up in the police station so officers can keep an eye out and then they can bring them in and have to do a police line up. Were there any witnesses? I thought my memory of the person would be excellent but it wasn’t and I was very grateful of witnesses being able to indentify them. PM me if you need to ask more questions/wanna talk. It’s scary as fuck.

Had a very mundane evening. Feeling a bit blah and now can’t sleep.
Here’s a thing though: I had Radio 2 on in the car earlier, and it was a request thing. If you’d won a quiz thing and got to choose any song for them to play (bearing in mind this is Radio 2, so that’s a lot of songs), why in the everloving fuck would you choose Country Girl by Primal Scream?!? Out of every song there is, that’s what you go for? Absurd.

the man had got off the train by the time the police had got on. there were witnesses at the station who acknowledged what happened when we were on the train, but they’d also gone. they also did fuck all when he very loudly and openly threatened to kill me so i doubt they’d be any help anyway. the police have said they should be able to identify him from cctv on the train but idk how/if they go about actually finding suspects once they’ve been physically identified. there might not even be cctv from the platform either so it’ll be my word against his and idk how you prosecute someone for that. quick edit to say thanks, meow. I remember reading about your assault at the time and i’m so sorry you had to go through all of that. i’m glad they got the fucker. x

that sounds so awful! And terrifying. People are dicks when it comes to stepping in and will just keep their heads down cause it’s easier. Chances are that this guy will be known to the police if he’s the kind of person that does that. My person got caught by doing something else and police running some report to see if she fit the description of anything outstanding so he may be caught by something like that hopefully? I would ping an email to the rail company/station manager to see if they can get footage of him stepping off the train or if any witnesses have come forward to give them your contact details just in case? Anything you can do to help them out would be good otherwise it could just get lost in their pile.
Oh thanks! It was so long ago but I don’t forget it cause it really scared the shit out of me. She’ll be out of prison now and I mostly feel sorry for her :unamused:
