Me and a bunch of friends have been doing this for a decade. Use it as an excuse to meet up annually.

Choose a spot in London we don’t know very well and visit 12 pubs near there. Usually find you get a few gastro pubs, some old school boozers and a handful of REALLY shady ones. Got to see some lovely spots over the years such as Willesden, Rotherhithe, West Brompton, Tottenham Hale, Leyton and Deptford.

piece of piss, mate

Though we just go for a stroll. Reading that article makes this trend sound proper shite.

If you go out for an afternoon drinking session that turns into an evening session you’re absolutely guaranteed to go to 12+ pubs, surely. It’s not an achievement or a challenge

those rules of conduct wear you call everyone frank sounds well funny

alright Oliver Reed

Oh, also any drinking thing that involves rules or fancy dress is obviously shit for twats who should’ve got it out of their system well before their 20th birthday

“Most work parties end up in the back room of a kebab house arm wrestling sailors, not sure it’s anything to boast about tbh”

Really? I tend to find a nice seat and sit down for the duration.

Fucking Hell, that Campus 14 thing sounds bats. Shabs and bants ahoy!

not much going on in [whatever shithole you live in] I suppose

This isn’t a leisurely thing. I’ve seen ten minute time limits being put in place in each pub before. Twelve pints or shots in around two hours is not to be sniffed at.

Can Confirm, it was a Golden Delicious.

Sometimes I have even been to other places.

Fun fact - I have never been to a pub in the town I live in (20 monthsish)

#THAT’S A STRANGE NAME FOR A TOWN!!

Ah yes, agreed. Hadn’t seen that post!

Wow!

I didn’t know you lived in a town!

Is there 12 of anything in Willesden?

Just checked for you and Wikipedia has it as a (small) town.
