One of the greats of Jamaican music is no longer with us. He made a tremendous contribution to reggae, and it’s not too difficult to draw a line from him to today’s HGATR heroes ATCQ and pretty much every other hip hop artist

That’s two absolute giants of Jamaican music within less than six months. 
One of the most influential people in modern music. The original and still one of the all time best Jamaican deejays and arguably the foundation for all emcees that followed (hip hop, grime, garage, all of it). RIP
