Lucas to stand down as Greens leader. Again.

Anyone care anymore?

Bit of a Farage problem they’ve got in a way - Lucas is a cut above pretty much anyone else they’ve got, perhaps with the exception of Jenny Jones.

I’d like to see the Green Party become more relevant nationally, but it’s really not happening without political reform, is it?

Probably not. Nor with a more left-wing Labour leadership.

austin needs retiring

Feel so down today after reading that awful ā€œcross party NHS reformsā€ article in the guardian. I joined labour a couple weeks ago but it feels like a waste of time supporting a party where half the MPs are continually acting to undermine the project that’s attracting us newer folk. Thinking of Jess fucking Phillips, ian Austin, owen smith, Chris Leslie, etc. Hope I’m wrong but I think the Tories are here until 2022, and I don’t know if Corbyn will still be leader by then unless he learns to hate and starts cutting the spoilers out. So fkn sick of them.

Yup

if i was the boy i’d be calling my lawyer tbh, this is an absolutely shameful smear job.

He’s a Tory who accused Jewdas of being anti-semites too, and who has praised Trump and the DUP. I’d expect nothing less from him.

The timing and the amount of coverage it’s received today is interesting though, given the publication of the report from the Muslim Council Of Britain regarding Conservative islamophobia this morning.

Oh, that’s nice

The power of an apology!

My Facebook and Instagram are full of adverts for London Tory bi-election men. I live in Not London. Weirdos.

Maybe that’s the new way to annoy the tories. Change all your social media settings to the demographics they’re targeting so they waste their ad budget. I don’t know how internet ads work though.

My tip is to click on ads by people you don’t like, because that’s usually when they get charged.

This is pretty interesting. The Islamist militants on the Syria/Israel border are almost exclusively Al Qaeda (Nusra) and ISIS by now. Many Druze living in terror of these groups atm. Remember Priti Patel’s quote-unquote ā€œunsanctionedā€ visit to Israel last year, and how she and several other tories were apparently pushing hard to fund more field hospitals for the IDF, and making all kinds of wild promises to them? There’s some obvious dirt here, but in the interests of not going full CONSPIRACY I’ll admit I’m buggered if I know exactly what the game is. Must be a way for an anti-imperialist opposition to pry at this…

Someone gonna get their CLP twitter account access revoked

Is this the first Parliamentary session in history where both main parties have spent more time dedicated to fighting themselves rather than the opposition?
