Think it’s basically just considered abandoned / owned by whoever possesses it. You see mystery unopened parcels at car boots now. Utter tosh though.

This feels like such an obvious scam opportunity that I’ll actually be quite disappointed if it isn’t one.

I always want to go to one of the unclaimed luggage auctions at the airport but i know I’d just get a case full of unwashed socks
