Have been weirdly addicted to this, haven’t seen the fourth episode yet so looking forward to that.

I have often looked at hedges and thought “Is it really that good at keeping people out of your shit?”, this is a good answer to that question.

Everything he climbs through makes my neck itch

Only watched a tiny bit, but these types of things do have an odd compelling pull.

Binged all of this guys recent adventure last week - hitting 7 wonders of the world in 7 days. Seemingly nice well intentioned guy, but really don’t want to venture to the comments as I suspect it’s people trying to pick holes in the possibility…

generally good plan for any video about anything tbh

Friends of mine did the charity walk across England you can do do at the top of the country, but they took a fortnight off work for it and obviously it was following public footpaths etc

The comments on this Welsh crossing one are pretty decent actually

Like Harald Baldr’s travel vids on youtube

No, but sounds like something I’d like. Aren’t freight train hoppers the hardcore cousins of the hitchhiking types? I’ve read it’s a very dangerous business

I think it’s gone now but the TravelXP channel on freeview was good for this kind of thing. Saw a programme about Egypt on there that was pure Partridgesque comedy gold

WTF, the Colosseum isn’t a wonder of the world

It probably is in Civilisation

Just an old stadium isn’t it? Not quite up there with the Colossus of Rhodes or the Hanging Gardens of Babylon

He’s a bit annoying tbh

It’s an impressive structure, but it’s not one of the standard seven wonders of the ancient world. I guess he’s using this “New7Wonders” list?

watched some. Thought it was really boring tbh

I still don’t get why he burned his cous cous.

Obviously it could be entirely fake, although that seems like almost as much trouble as doing it.

I did wonder if in fact he had got permission but (rightly) thought there’d be more tension if he played it like he hadn’t. If you assume that then some of the Go Pro deaths move from whoops into suspicious, particularly how often the footage cuts when he goes past people’s houses, I suppose.

Yeah, I think as @HotBeefTrauma says if it’s 100% real then he’s suffering from the situation and it’s affecting his ability to think clearly. Or he might just have that weird impulsive streak I’ve known in loads of people where they do odd stupid things.

Equally maybe he didn’t burn it and it was just something he thought added to his tale?

Actually I think he said he left it in his firepit which is a bit odd, like after he stopped the fire?
