Is that the gig at Wylam Brewery? Got to be worth going just for the beer (for what it’s worth I’d heard from a friend that Evan Dando was on good form when he last saw him).

It is indeed, and that’s a very good point…

I’m surprisingly low on tickets for 2019 gigs. So far all that I have booked are:

Fucked Up in Brighton; and
Neil Young/Bob Dylan in Hyde Park

Need some more stuff in the diary.

Just bought tickets for Lemonheads in Glasgow! Saw Evan play solo last year and he was great. He was slightly…frazzled (had to re-start songs a few times)…however, his voice still sounds great.

Oooh haven’t heard of this before. My grandma lives a 20 minute cab from Katowice so this is very tempting. How much are the tickets?

Less than £50, with KRAFTWERK HEADLINING: http://festiwalnowamuzyka.pl/en/ (price goes up in January I think)

That Ā£50 gets you into the festival proper on the Friday and Saturday - stuff starts at 6-7pmish and goes on until the morning. There are smaller gigs in the city on the Thursday and Sunday which you either have to get separate tickets for, or get 3 or 4 day tickets (not on sale yet). This will be the fourth time I’ve been, it’s fucking excellent and easily the best festival I’ve been to.

Nearly forgot The Armed. Also Fluff Fest but that goes without saying.

Not much so far.

Lost Under Heaven
Black Midi
Young Fathers
Idles
Murkage Dave
Sea Changes

Sold out again! I was joking to my friend the other day about how I should buy a ticket even though it’s fucking ages away. Gratifying to see they’re popular, though!

Forgot I’m also seeing Kiss at the O2.

Spielbergs in the same venue.
Tears For Fears at the Hydro, Glasgow.
