i actually respect these people a lot more than the fake friends tbh. at least the average lib owns it when they say they don’t care about the global south or american empire, they’ll happily take another 100 iraq wars, they just don’t want to feel bad anymore. can’t really persuade someone out of that level of derangement. all you can do is say god bless, have a nice day.
edit: thinking here of how briefly happy everyone would get when he bombed syria or coup’d bolivia or tried it w venezuela or something. the undergirding sentiment was “ah, sweet normalcy, this i understand.”
