I believe they are working on that right now. If they do get the votes, then it will all happen quite quickly. That still means at least a couple of weeks, because you want to make sure all the nails are hammered into the coffin.

If McConnell says yes then itâll be easy but itâs probably just trying to play it both ways - will say there isnât time or no point in the remaining time.
So is the reason the flight of corporate donors or because Wray has briefed him on what has and is really happening. Probably the money.
It also might be that Trump nearly got him killed and Trump hasnât been useful to McConnell since the Supreme Court appointment.
He knows Trump is done. With social media and the banks and places disowning him he knows that impeaching Trump and basically retiring him is what the GOP need to do to clear house and try to win back the senate and defeat an incumbent president in 2024.
Iâm not surprised that McConnell sees this as the best move for him and the party.

There are still a lot of ways to be obstructionist as the Minority Leader, since Manchin will reliably vote with the Republicans.
Oh for sure. He will wield his power and abuse his position in ways Democrats will fail to counteract but he ainât where he wants to be.
