So I guess my question is, ARE the democrats doing anything (e.g. did they orchestrate the recent protests) or are they just stewing in their own juices. Hard to know whether Labour got in (by default) or whether they were carefully planning their way in, and how this would work in the US. Is the MAGA base so numerous that democrats would have to work hard to mobilise their voters just to match Trump’s or can they rely on the ruinous decline of the US internally and to countries outside (probably immaterial to many voters) to deliver a Democrat(ic) outcome?
