I just want to confirm when I ‘like’ a comment if it is factual or someone is recounting bad news, I am not saying I like their misfortune, I am using it as a form of solidarity or agreement. Everyone else uses it like this right?
I use it in the exact same way I used to use (the vastly superior) ^This
What ‘like’ button?
^this
seconded
…that ↓
I use it for a lot of things tbh, but absolutely including what you have described.
Rather unusually I also use it when I like a comment
I’m so glad someone’s brought this up. Sometimes I used it as a ^this sometimes as a like. How will they know the difference? It’s minefield.
We need a poll…
Er…
How do you make a poll?
I AM ON IT!!!
whereas I am very much indicating I am enjoying another poster’s misfortune
TYPES OF LIKING (check those you use):
- lol funny comment
- Acknowledging something that was directed at me
- Someone has posted something sad/bad news/etc and I’m liking the post because I don’t know what to say
- Ironically liking someone who’s being a dick
- Liking an in-joke to show that I get it
- YES I AGREE WITH THIS POST
- I fancy the person who posted this
0 voters
That ought to cover it
I don’t know why you can’t vote for every option, sorry
Tried to include this by way of edit but someone had already posted. You’re on your own here, japesy
I’m happy to see the back of THIS. It was so easy to abuse, and it was devastating to see so many people THISSING a post that condemned you.
The THISSING of HATE.
Because you set the maximum option number to 6.
Well he’s right. It was always shitty when you were on the other end of a This-bully assault.
I’ve fallen over and hurt my knee.
